It's easy to miss the sneaky bit of plastic foam tucked between the layers of the upper that provides cushioning, but its impact adds up. Typically, these foams are made from virgin plastic, specifically PU foams that use toxic blowing agents that are classified as hazardous or substances of very high concern. This makes them harmful from the outset and very hard to deal with at its End-of-Life
We replace that with UNWASTE™.

UNWASTE™ begins its journey at the opposite end of the cycle, starting with waste. To be specific, it utilizes 100% post-consumer garment waste that is too damaged, mixed, or forgotten to be resold or recycled. Instead of being incinerated or dumped, we recycle it into a clean cushioning material designed for lifestyle footwear.
